9/11 Ten Years Later: A Remembrance

The Baltimore Jewish Council is spearheading a memorial service for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S.

The event, titled "" will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 8100 Stevenson Road, Pikesville.

The event is open to the public.

Guest speakers expected at the event are Gov. Martin O'Malley; U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin; Col. Terrence Sheriden, former Maryland State Police superintendent; and Jayne Miller of WBAL-TV, according to a news release from The Associated.

The event is sponsored by The Associated; the congregation; Baltimore Board of Rabbis; American Jewish Committee, Baltimore; Greater Washington Muslim Council, and the Institute for Christian & Jewish Studies.
