Bennett's Curse Haunted House in Blobs Park

Bennett’s Curse Haunted House is now open on show dates through Nov. 3.


New this year to the haunted house is the The Day of the Dead Weekend, from 7-11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 and Sat., Nov. 3, at the haunted house attraction in Blob's Park, Jessup, according to a news release.


For that weekend, "the lights go out and a completely different, even more terrifying show comes to life as Bennett's Curse goes completely PITCH BLACK!" it states.

Each group gets some LED finger lights to help explore the dark passages of Bennett's Curse.

  • Huge, roving monsters

  • detailed sets,

  • lighting effects


"During Flashlight Fright Nights, (Nov. 2 and 3) everything changes, and a completely different show emerges, one that you and your group can explore."



There will be food served on site at Bennett’s Curse.


Special dates at Bennett's Curse, according to the release:



  • October 11—Student Discount Night. Show your Student ID and Save $5

  • November 2 and 3. Flashlight Fright Nights in Celebration of the Day of the Dead Weekend


Directions to Bennett’s Curse: Bennett’s Curse at Blobs Park is located halfway between Baltimore and Washington DC off of the Baltimore/Washington Parkway (295) at Route 175 East Take 295 and exit onto 175 East toward Odenton.


Turn right at the yellow, blinking light. Make an immediate right onto Max Blobs Park Road. Follow for about a quarter mile to Bennett’s Curse on the left.


Show Dates for Bennett’s Curse are Oct. 11,12,13,14,18,19,20,21,25-31 Nov. 2,3, the release states.


The show is open from 7-10 some nights, and 7-11 p.m. on others. Please check the "hours" online before making plans.
