On Sunday, April 3 2011, pro-life Marylanders are expected to walk from Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Catonsville to Hillcrest Clinic.
"Participants plan to pray outside the clinic for women and their babies ... ; healing of men and women who carry the pain of a past abortion; workers at abortion clinics; and local, state and national leaders who support abortion," according to a news release from the Baltimore/Catonsville campaign of 40 Days for Life, and Johanna Coughlin of the Archdioces of Baltimore.
"The group also hopes its actions will call attention to legislation currently before the Maryland General Assembly that would provide protections for women who enter abortion clinics, which are not regulated as are ambulatory surgical facilities," the release states.

The pro-life campaign focuses on 40 days of prayer and fasting and 40 days of peaceful vigils at abortion facilities.
“We want to thank all the people who’ve made great personal sacrifice to bring 40 days for life to the halfway point,” Father Michael DeAscanis said in the news release. “We also know that we still have a long way to go in our collective effort to demonstrate the harm abortion has done to women in Catonsville.”
The procession will begin after the noon Mass at Saint Agnes Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Catonsville.
