2 Potomac Students Inducted Into Phi Beta Kappa At St. Mary's College

Two St. Mary's College students from Potomac were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa's Zeta Chapter of Maryland on March 31.

On Friday, March 31, 25 St. Mary's College of Maryland students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa's Zeta Chapter of Maryland. One member of the St. Mary's College faculty -- Asif Ud Dowla -- was inducted as an honorary member.

ST. MARYS CITY, MD — Three students from Potomac were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa's Zeta Chapter of Maryland on March 31, at St. Mary's College of Maryland, according to a release from Merit News.

Potomac natives Emma Bradshaw and Julia Kochman were among the 25 St. Mary's College students inducted into the nation's oldest academic honor society. In all, 22 seniors and three juniors were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

One member of the St. Mary's College faculty — Asif Ud Dowla — was inducted as an honorary member during the ceremony, which took place at the reconstructed State House of 1676 in Historic St. Mary's City.
