Surveillance Photos Of Potomac Bank Robbery Suspect Released By Police
Montgomery County police on Monday released surveillance photos of a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Potomac last Tuesday.
POTOMAC, MD — Montgomery County police on Monday released surveillance photos of a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Potomac last Tuesday. One of the surveillance photos shows the suspect pointing a gun.
At about 11:05 a.m. on Oct. 31, police officers responded to the bank in the 9800 block of Falls Road in Potomac for a report of a bank robbery.
Police determined that the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller windows, displayed a black handgun and demanded money. The tellers handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who then left the scene, police said.

Based on surveillance video, the suspect is described as a Black male, about 40-years-old, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with an average height and armed with a black handgun. The suspect was last seen wearing a red Washington Nationals baseball cap, black sunglasses, a blue surgical mask, a red sweater, blue jeans and black or white shoes.
