According to the town of University Park, only one resident filed to run for the vacancy on University Park's council. David Brosch, the president of , LLC, credited for the solar panels on the roof of the , is running for the ward 1 council seat left vacant by former councilwoman Margaret Mallino. Brosch is running uncontested in the town's special election, which will be held on Oct. 25.
