Police: Taxicab Driver Fatally Shot on New Year's Eve
There is a reward in place and the victim's name has not been released, the PGPD reports.

A taxi driver was shot inside of his cab in Capitol Heights, according to the Prince George’s Police Department.
The police received a call for a suspicious car on a roadway at about 1 a.m. Dec. 31. When officers arrived to the 800 block of Balsamtree Drive, they found the taxi driver suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim’s name will be revealed after the family is notified and there is a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
