Spring is Springing in Riverdale Park and University Park Photo Contest

It is official: spring has arrived!

There may still be a slight chill in the air, but the birds are chirping, the daffodils are opening, and the trees are sporting little green buds. 

In honor of the change of seasons, Riverdale Park-University Park Patch is hosting a photo contest, the prizes being Patch swag and glory. 

Are you seeing signs of spring in your neighborhood?  

To enter, snap a photo of spring and uploaded to this article by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 12. The winner will be chosen by user votes between April 13 and April 21. The winner will be announced on April 22. 

The winner will receive a Patch tote bag, T-shirt and pair of sunglasses, valued at $10. The winning photo will also be displayed as the cover photo of the Riverdale Park-University Park Patch Facebook page for no less than one month. 

The basics:

• The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
• Entrants may submit up to five separate photos. Official entries must be uploaded as photos to this article.
• One winning photo will be selected by readers who can vote in the comments section of this article.
