Rockville Science Day Offers Hands-On Interaction With Exhibits

Rockville Science Day offers hands-on exhibits featuring animals, astronomy, biology, robots, and more on April 23.

From the City of Rockville: The 28th annual Rockville Science Day offers a chance to experience science hands-on with exhibits from over 90 local organizations and businesses, featuring animals, astronomy, biology, chemistry, the environment, robotics and rockets.

The Rockville tradition is free and will be held from noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 at Montgomery College's Rockville campus, at 51 Mannakee St. An opening ceremony is at 1 p.m.

The Mayor and Council issued a proclamation recognizing Science Day as "a local family-oriented event designed to acquaint youth with the world of science and to help both children and grown-ups alike understand how science is used in our lives."
