July 4: What’s Closed in Rockville

Most Rockville facilities and programs will not operate on Thursday in observance of Independence Day:

• Rockville City Hall
• F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Box Office
• Croydon Creek Nature Center
• Rockville Civic Center Park Offices, including Glenview Mansion and the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery
• Lincoln Park
• Twinbrook and Thomas Farm community centers
• Rockville Senior Center

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Swim center classes will not be held on Thursday and Friday. The swim center's normal summer hours can be found at the City's website.

RedGate Municipal Golf Course will be open for limited hours on July 4. For RedGate hours and more information call 240-406-1650. 

Recycling, yard waste and refuse collection will be delayed by one day for homes with a collection day that falls on Thursday or Friday of that week. Thursday collection will be made on Friday, and Friday collection will be made on Saturday.
