Map: Rockville Police Reports for Sept. 9-Sept. 15
The following incidents were supplied by Rockville City police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests
300 block of Martins Lane—A male reported being jumped and robbed of cash, a hunting knife and an iPod on Sept. 9, between 8:30 and 9 p.m. The alleged victim told police he and a friend were speaking to two females when a stranger who struck up a conversation. Meanwhile, several people approached them. Police said when the victim tried to leave, the stranger grabbed him, and he and his friend were assaulted. Three people were later charged:
- On Sept. 12, a 22-year-old man was arrested in connection to the incident and charged with robbery, and first- and second-degree assault. In addition, at the time of the arrest, the male was also charged with possession of a handgun.
- On Sept. 16, two men, a 19 year old and a 21-year-old, were arrested in connection to the incident and charged with robbery, and first- and second-degree assault.
Darnestown Road and Hi Wood Drive—A 49-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Oak Knoll Drive at around 11:30 a.m. Sept. 10.

700 block of Beall Avenue—A 31-year-old man was arrested for making false statement pertaining to a destructive device on Sept. 10, between 6:59 and 8:04 p.m.
Veirs Mill Road and Twinbrook Parkway—A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana on Sept. 13 at 5:33 p.m.

Incidents
1000 block of Heritage Fields Avenue—A garage was accessed Sept. 9, at around 5:30 a.m. Once inside, the unknown person entered a vehicle, however nothing was stolen.
400 block of Hungerford Drive—A laptop was taken from a vehicle Sept. 10, between 11 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
600 block of Monroe Street—Two laptops were taken from an apartment via an unlocked window on Sept. 10, between 4:30 and 7 p.m.
1600 block of Rockville Pike—A suitcase and two kitchen knives were taken from a vehicle Sept. 11, between 4 and 11 p.m.
1700 block of Rockville Pike—Sunglasses, a laptop, an iPad, a suitcase, a book, a messenger bag and a GPS were taken from two vehicles Sept. 11. between 9:48 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 8:38 p.m.
500 block of Hungerford Drive—A suitcase, a calculator and a stethoscope were taken from a vehicle between 7:40 p.m. Sept. 11 and 8 a.m. Sept. 12.
1200 block of Seven Locks Road—Conduits, PVC pipes, poles and a breakaway pedestal base were taken from a site sometime between 1 p.m. Aug. 30 and 7 a.m. Sept. 12.
5900 block of Vandegrift Avenue—Cash and a GPS were taken from a vehicle between 10 p.m. Sept. 12 and 3 p.m. Sept. 13.
2000 block of Rockland Avenue—Clothes and a pair of earphones were taken from a vehicle between 10:15 p.m. Sept. 12 and 6:50 a.m. Sept. 13.
1600 block of Rockville Pike—An unattended purse was taken from a store Sept. 13, at around 1:15 p.m. Police are looking for a black female in her late 30s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall last seen wearing a red tank top and black pants.
1600 block of Rockville Pike—A backpack containing schoolbooks were taken from a vehicle on Sept. 13, between 7 and 9:30 p.m.
2200 block of Veirs Mill Road— Skin care and soap were taken from a business at around 1 p.m. Sept. 14. Police are looking for a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds, with short black hair and a dark skin tone. He was last seen wearing white tennis shoes, black pants, a white shirt with Mickey Mouse on it and was carrying a red backpack.
1400 block of Rockville Pike—An unattended cell phone was taken from a restaurant on Sept. 15, between 1 and 2 a.m.
300 block of Martins Lane—Clothes, cash and a car key were taken from an unlocked locker were taken from a recreation center Sept. 15, between 4:10 and 5:50 p.m.
