MD-Based JOOLA Lands Pickleball Deal With Life Time Fitness: Report

Under the agreement, the Rockville company will provide pickleball paddles and clinics at clubs across the country.

ROCKVILLE, MD — JOOLA, a Montgomery County-based pickleball and table tennis equipment maker, recently inked a new agreement with Life Time Fitness to become the national chain's official sponsor, according to a WTOP report.

Under the agreement, the Rockville company will provide JOOLA pickleball paddles to all clubs and will also host pickleball clinics at Life Time locations, WTOP reported.

Life Time Fitness currently has 500 pickleball courts at its locations with a goal of 1,000 by the end of 2024, according to WTOP.

Established in Germany in 1952, JOOLA was acquired by Rockville-based Sport Squad Inc. in 2019, according to the company's website. JOOLA launched its pickleball line in 2022 and became the official sponsor of player Ben Johns.
