ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Council President Sidney Katz is hosting a business briefing on Zoom for residents affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The virtual meeting — set to take place on Friday at 12:30 p.m — will provide an overview of the county's efforts to support struggling local businesses. It will also give participants a chance to discuss how the public and private sector can work together to meet the evolving economic needs of the county.

"Partnering with our local business community is more important now than it has ever been, as we face down the economic challenges presented by the Covid-19 crisis," said Katz. "As a former small business owner, I know how integral local businesses are and will continue to be to Montgomery County's economy."
