MS13 Gang Members Arrested For Murder Of Montgomery County Man

Five suspected MS13 gang members have been arrested for a 2015 murder of a Montgomery County man.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Over the past couple of weeks, authorities have tracked down and arrested the five suspects in the apparent 2015 gang-related murder in Woodbridge of Guillermo Hernandez Leyva, 19, of Montgomery County, Md., according to Prince William County Police. An investigation found that both the suspects and the victim had ties to the criminal street gang Mara Salvatrucha, or MS13.

The five suspects were located across four states. Charged with 1st degree murder are Daniel Alexander Flores Ventura, 24 (caught in Indianapolis), Wilians Ernesto Lovos Ayala, 24 (caught in Atlantic County, N.J.), Michael Alexander Campos Lemus, 23 (caught in Essex County, N.J.), and Vilas Sail Argueta Bermudez, 30 (caught in Texas). Charged with accessory before the fact — murder is Carlos Ulises Ochoa Pineda, 23 (caught in Montgomery County, Md.).

The victim's remains were found Sept. 29, 2015, in a wooded area around the 14300 block of Westminster Lane. An investigation found he traveled to the county in July of 2015, after which he was beaten and stabbed to death.
