1. Montgomery County's First Post-Prohibition Distillery Liquidating Assets (mocoshow.com) — Twin Valley Distillers has permanently closed its Rockville facility on Gude Drive, and all of its distilling and tasting room equipment is being liquidated through an auction. The county’s first post-Prohibition distillery, founded in 2013, had become a local favorite for tours, cocktails, and farm-to-bottle spirits. Future plans for the Rockville site have not yet been announced.
   

2. Arrest Made in Regional Circuit Breaker Burglaries (ccso.us) — A Rockville resident has been arrested in connection with nearly 50 burglaries targeting newly built homes across Charles County and the surrounding region, where circuit breakers worth about $50,000 were stolen. Charles County detectives, assisted by Montgomery and Prince George’s County police, served a search warrant in Montgomery County and the suspect is now being held without bond.
   

3. 4. ‘Eventually we will all be targeted': ICE protests in Montgomery Co. remember Renee Good (wtop.com) — More than 100 people gathered along Rockville Pike in Montgomery County to protest the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, joining over a thousand demonstrations nationwide. Despite rain, local and regional activists decried ICE’s actions and criticized national leaders’ responses, stressing solidarity with immigrants and the importance of visibly defending democracy and vulnerable neighbors.
