Late Night Teen Valentine’s Party

7-10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Students in 6th through 9th grades have the Thomas Farm Community Center all to themselves to celebrate Valentine's Day with games in the gym, video games and music and crafts. Refreshments will be sold. $5 per person at the door. No registration required. Call 240-314-8840 for more information.

Tiny Hearts

10 a.m. to noon Tuesday.

Children age 5 and younger should wear red and come to play, make crafts and enjoy light refreshments. $2 per child with adults with current memberships or day passes, which cost $6 for city residents and $8 for non-residents.

XOXO After School Valentine’s Dance

5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lincoln Park Community Center hosts this party for elementary school students to dress in red and celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends, family and a disc jockey spinning the latest tunes. $3 per person. No registration required.

Cocktails and Canvas: The Valentine Edition

2-5 p.m. Sunday; 7-10 p.m. Tuesday.

Have a creative night out at VisArts at Rockville Town Square. Make art with your sweetie and create a lasting memory with paint on a selection of love-themed canvasses. $60 gets you two canvases, champagne, red and white wine, sodas and chocolates. VisArts provides the paint, brushes, aprons and instruction. Have a date and then dinner on Sunday or dinner and then a date on Tuesday.
