13 Residents Displaced After Vehicle Slams Into House: Reports
Ten adults and three children from Silver Spring were displaced from a residence after a vehicle slammed into it, causing structural damage.

SILVER SPRING, MD — At least a dozen people were displaced when a vehicle slammed into a home Saturday morning, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials said.
Firefighters from Silver Spring Station 16 were called around 10:30 a.m. to the 200 block of University Boulevard East near East Indian Spring Drive in Colesville. Rescuers found that two cars had collided, with one striking a single-family home, WJLA reported.
Ten adults and three children from Silver Spring were displaced after the residence sustained structural damage from the crash, WTOP reported.

Montgomery County Fire and EMS personnel said there were no serious injuries and both drivers declined to go to the hospital.
Montgomery County’s Department of Permitting Services and Code Enforcement deemed the home unsafe for occupancy, WJLA said.
