The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development presents a full-day summit focusing on how looming federal budget cuts could affect the local real estate market in terms of federal leasing, new construction and procurement opportunities.

In FY2012, the federal government awarded $10.4 billion in contracts and $168 million in grants to Montgomery County companies and organizations.  In 2011, the federal government occupied 8.4 million square feet of leased space in Montgomery County.
