Armed Robbers Steal Prescription Medicine From Colesville Pharmacy: Police

Police are seeking two suspects who stole prescription medicine during an armed robbery of a pharmacy in Colesville.

COLESVILLE, MD — Police are seeking two suspects who stole prescription medicine during an armed robbery of The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Colesville.

The robbery occurred on the afternoon of Aug. 13 at the store located at 12838 New Hampshire Ave. Detectives revealed that the two suspects —one who was armed with a handgun— vaulted the counter, confronted a clerk and demanded prescription medication.

The clerk complied and gave the suspects several types of prescription medication. The suspects fled from the store and were last seen on foot southbound on New Hampshire Avenue.

Police describe the suspects as two men who were wearing dark clothing, gloves and had their faces concealed.
