Kentucky Girl Missing Since October Found In Silver Spring

A 37-year-old man is facing kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of 13-year-old Wynter Wagoner.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Kentucky girl missing since October was located by police in Montgomery County this week. A man was also arrested in connection with her disappearance, according to police.

On Friday, Montgomery County police received a tip that 13-year-old Wynter Wagoner from Rockcastle County, Kentucky, might be in Montgomery County. Officers and U.S. Marshals deputies located Wagoner inside a home in the 12000 block of Dalewood Drive.

According to police, Wagoner was with 37-year-old Christian Alexander Delgado, who was arrested and charged with kidnapping.

Wagoner was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

Delgado is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

Wagoner was last seen in Orlando, Kentucky, on Oct. 14, according to authorities.

At a news conference held in October, officials said Wagoner was picked up early from school by her foster parents, who discovered she was gone when they went to check on her, WTOP reported.

Her family had offered a $5,000 reward for any information that would lead to her safe return.
