Arrest Warrant Issued For Man Accused Of Killing Girlfriend: MCPD
A 29-year-old man is accused of killing his girlfriend at their Silver Spring home last week. Police need the public's help finding him.

SILVER SPRING, MD — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of killing his 28-year-old girlfriend at their Silver Spring home on Sunday.
Montgomery County police have identified the suspect as Juan Emilio Guzman-Contreras, 29, of the 3800 block of Bel Pre Rd. The warrant charges him with the first-degree murder of Claudia Areli Gonzalez.
Authorities said they found Gonzalez's body at the couple's home shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday. They said she had trauma to her upper body.

Gonzalez's remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore for an autopsy. Her death was ruled a homicide.
An investigation by police identified Guzman-Contreras as the suspect. Police said they cannot locate him.
