Child-Care Options, Closings: MD Parents, Caregivers Survey

Patch is looking for parents and providers to share their experiences with child care over the last couple of years.

MARYLAND — Calling all Maryland parents, guardians and child care providers.

Patch is writing a story about child care in Maryland both before and during the coronavirus pandemic and is looking for people to share their experiences. Did your local child care providers close? Did remote work make you rethink sending kids to child care centers? Are you a provider who has decided to close over the past couple of years?

Parents and providers have faced changing guidelines and restrictions for facilities since the pandemic began. With the rise of more remote work, some people decided to keep their kids home. Others, such as essential workers, still had the same need for reliable care.
