Dozen Displaced After Fire In Silver Spring Condo

No one was injured in a fire at a condo complex in Silver Spring but about a dozen are displaced, a Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Eight condo units were affected by a fire Monday afternoon at Rock Creek Village in Silver Spring and about a dozen people are displaced, said Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer.

Fire crews responded to the condos and knocked the fire down, said Piringer. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
