Missing Woman Last Seen At Silver Spring Hotel: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are searching for a missing woman who was last seen leaving the Travel Lodge in Silver Spring.

Police said Maria Clare Margot, 30, was seen Thursday. She walked away from the hotel at 8040 13th St. at about 2 a.m.

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

Margot was last seen wearing a pink tank top, dark pants cut-off at the knee, gold flip flops and a red baseball cap with the letter “W” on the front.

She was carrying a light-blue backpack with a white stripe, and had a bandage on her upper left wrist.

Police describe Margot as a white woman who is 5'7" and weighs 130 pounds.

She is last known to live in the 1200 block of M St. NW in DC.
