Suspect Sought In Assault Of Girl At Silver Spring Dave & Buster’s

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are searching for a man who assaulted a 10-year-old girl at a Dave & Buster's arcade in the 8600 block of Colesville Road in Silver Spring.

Montgomery County Police just released a poster Monday with surveillance images of the suspect and asked for the public’s help identifying the suspect in the incident. (See image at the bottom of this story.)

According to police, the assault happened about 10 p.m. on Sept. 28 in the arcade area, when the girl was approached by an unknown man who removed her shoes and socks and smelled her feet before fleeing.

Detectives ask anyone who saw the assault, or who may have information that could help identify the suspect, to come forward. They also encourage anyone who may have had a similar encounter with the suspect to contact authorities.
