UPDATE: Mother and Baby Reported Missing Have Been Found
The Silver Spring woman and her 4-month-old girl have not been seen since Thursday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Police.

(Updated at 1:25 p.m.) SILVER SPRING, MD — A woman and her infant daughter who were reported missing in Montgomery County Friday morning have been located safe and unharmed. Pictures of the pair, along with a photo of a van similar to the one they might be using, were released in hopes the public can help in the search.

Maduba Polan, 34 years old, of the 2500 block of Spencer Road in Silver Spring, last had contact with family at 4:30 p.m Thursday, according to police. She has her four-month-old daughter, Zoe Polan, with her. They are believed to be in a silver, 2005 Dodge Caravan with Maryland registration 6CE6816.

Police describe Maduba Polan as an African-American woman, 5’ 2” tall and 130 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes. Zoe is a four-month-old girl with short, curly, black hair and brown eyes.
"Police and family are concerned for the emotional and physical well being of Maduba Polan as well as the welfare of Zoe Polan," according to a Montgomery County Police statement.
