No Injuries In Fire At Montgomery County Animal Hospital
An overheated clothes dryer caused a fire to break out at Brookeville Animal Hospital, officials said.

BROOKEVILLE, MD — A fire broke out at a Montgomery County animal hospital Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
The incident occurred at Brookeville Animal Hospital at 22201 Georgia Ave. near Gregg Road.
A smoke alarm went off in the two-story kennel for the report of a fire in the building, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.

The kennel was unoccupied at the time, Piringer said. Firefighters responded to the kennel and found an overheated/malfunctioning washer or clothes dryer in an out building.
There were no injuries reported.
