Pedestrian Fatally Hit By SUV Identified By Police
A pedestrian fatally struck by a car in Fairland Friday night near the intersection of Columbia Pike and Tech Road has been identified.
FAIRLAND, MD — A pedestrian fatally struck by a car in Fairland near the intersection of Columbia Pike and Tech Road was identified Monday by Montgomery County police.
The victim, Yaovi Magloire Guedoh, 52, of Frederick, was hit by a car while crossing Columbia Pike shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
Police said a black 2020 GMC Terrain was northbound on Columbia Pike when the driver struck Guedoh, who was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts.

The adult driver of the Terrain remained on scene; the driver's name has not been released by police.
