Police Investigating Teen's Death In Silver Spring
Police are searching for suspects after the 17-year-old died in an apparent homicide on Tuesday night.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for possible suspects after a 17-year-old boy was killed in Silver Spring on Tuesday night.
According to police, officers responded to the 700 block of University Boulevard East around 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired and a person down in the roadway.
When officers arrived, they found the teen, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers also located two additional victims, both of whom were uninjured.

Police did not provide additional details about the nature of the teen's injuries.
The 17-year-old's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death. His identity was not released pending notification of family.
