Silver Spring Killing: Two Men Arrested, Charged In Fatal Shooting
Jahiem Rayquan Pinnock, a 19-year-old from Silver Spring, died after he was shot in a parking lot on Good Hope Drive, authorities said.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Two men have been charged in connection with the killing of a 19-year-old from Silver Spring, Montgomery County Police said.
Officers found Jahiem Rayquan Pinnock, 19, with a gunshot wound in a parking lot on Good Hope Drive after receiving calls about a shooting on Tuesday afternoon. Pinnock was taken to the hospital where he died, police said.
Witnesses told police that the shooting suspects had driven away in a green Toyota sedan. A 3rd District officer saw the car near New Hampshire Avenue and Jackson Road and attempted to pull it over, a police news release says.

Authorities say the driver ran the red light at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Lockwood Drive and crossed the center median, which damaged one of the car's tires. When the car stopped on Powder Mill Road, the passenger inside jumped out and started to run, police said.
Authorities say officers caught up to Glen Ellis, 20 and arrested him. Driver Jose Angel Calderon Nolasco, 19, was also arrested.
