Suspect Sought In Credit Card, Wallet Theft In Silver Spring
Police said the theft occurred on June 22 at a grocery store in Montgomery County.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a man they say stole a Safeway employee's wallet and used their credit card to make several purchases.
According to Montgomery County police, the theft occurred on June 22 around 11:15 a.m. at the Safeway located at 909 Thayer Ave.
Investigators said the suspect stole an employee's wallet from a closet and made purchases at three nearby locations using the employee's credit card.

Police described the suspect as a Black male in his 40s or 50s. He has a graying goatee and a slight build, and he was wearing a black Washington Nationals hat, a white T-shirt and a black backpack.
