What Montgomery County services and offices are closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23?

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD - From Montgomery County Government: Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23.
County Offices – Closed
Libraries – Closed
County Liquor stores – Closed
Recreation - All programs and facilities are closed
Montgomery Parks - For operating schedule, visit www.MontgomeryParks.org
Ride On – Sunday schedule (Riders can access the schedule for their route and find the Sunday schedule.)
Metrorail – Trains will run on a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving Day with no scheduled track work. The system will open at 8 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day, and parking will be free at Metro-operated facilities with the exception of a non-rider special event fee at Largo Town Center and Morgan Blvd for the football game. Metrobus – Bus service will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving Day. Customers should check bus timetables for details. More information available at www.wmata.com
MetroAccess – Paratransit service will operate during the same hours as Metrorail and Metrobus. Subscription trips will be cancelled on Thanksgiving Day unless the MetroAccess customer specifically requests to travel on the holiday.
TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center – Not operating
TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store – Not operating
Refuse/recycling pickup – No collection; collection for Thursday and Friday provided one day later for remainder of week (last collection day is Saturday)
The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station – Closed
Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – Free
State offices and courts – Closed Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24
