Woman, 39, Reported Missing In Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 39-year-old woman was reported missing in Silver Spring and Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help to find her.

Magdah Hafez, 39, was last seen on Saturday around 3 p.m. on the 300 block of Wayne Avenue, authorities said. She is 5-foot-10, has brown eyes and short black hair. She was wearing a green sun hat, a green padded jacket, a gray sweater with flowers, camouflage green joggers and gray sneakers when she was last seen, police said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about Hafez's disappearance to call the 3rd District Investigative Section at (240) 773- 6870 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279- 8000 (24-hour line). They said that callers may remain anonymous.
