Christmas Decorations Destroyed At Takoma Park Homes: Police

Takoma Park homeowners told police that their Christmas decorations were destroyed and dragged into the street, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Police are searching for unknown suspects who tore down holiday decorations at two Takoma Park homes Saturday night.

Police were called on the report of malicious destruction of property in the 7400 block of Holly Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Arriving officers discovered unknown suspect(s) pulled decorative lights off of trees and cut the cord to the lights, police said.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Grant Avenue just ten minutes later for a similar report, according ABC 7 News. The homeowner told officers that their decorations were dragged into the street and that someone threw an egg at the home.
