Police Investigate Burglary At Takoma Park Business

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police are investigating a burglary that took place at Informax Cell Phone and Computer Repairs Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Holton Lane for the report of a burglary just before 11:30 p.m. Police met with the store manager of the business who said the establishment had been burglarized.

Store video surveillance shows a white male of average height and slim build, approximately mid-20's, crawl through a smashed front glass door, police said. The suspect can be seen stealing store property and putting it inside the backpack.

The suspect had a light colored Nike backpack with the phrase "Just Do It" written across the main pocket along the zipper. The backpack also had thin black trim around each of the exterior pockets.
