Schools to Host Information Session on PARCC Assessments
Montgomery Parents can learn about the new standards, take sample quizzes and get grade-level information.

Parents in Montgomery County are invited to attend information session on the new Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers assessment on PARCC Night on Monday.
Montgomery County Public Schools and the Montgomery County Council of PTAs will sponsor the event.
At the event, parents can learn about the PARCC assessment and how Montgomery County Public Schools is preparing students for the tests. There will be opportunities for parents to take sample quizzes, attend breakout sessions and pick up grade-level information and resources. MCPS staff will be available to answer questions.

The event will be held at Montgomery Blair High School, located at 51 University Boulevard East in Silver Spring, on Monday, Feb. 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
There will be free childcare (ages 4 and older) and foreign language interpretation for parents who wish to attend.
