Today, AT&T announces a new 4G LTE-equipped cell site in Lutherville-Timonium, off Belfast Road near I-83.
What does this mean? Residents and businesses can expect faster, improved service. Over the past few months, we’ve enhanced coverage in Lutherville-Timonium by activating several new cell sites along I-83. For example, in April, we announced similar enhancements off West Timonium Road. Doing this alleviates existing cell sites to create a more robust network.
This is part of a larger effort to enhance AT&T’s network in Maryland. From 2011 through 2013, AT&T invested more than $600M in its Maryland wireless and wireline networks, including more than $375M in Baltimore alone.Â
