County Seeks Martin Luther King Jr. Content of Character Nominees

The award will be given to four residents who represent exemplary character.

Baltimore County is looking for residents who model exemplary character as laid out in Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

The county will award four residents—a man, woman, boy and girl—with its ninth annual Baltimore County Martin Luther King Jr. Content of Character Award in honor of the civil rights icon’s birthday, according to a news release.

  • Forms are also available at Baltimore County Public Library branches
  • A PDF may also be downloaded from the county’s website

The deadline for nominations is Dec. 20 and the honorees will be notified after Dec. 27. The awards will be presented at 11 a.m., Jan. 17 at St. Stephens A.M.E. Church, 1601 Old Eastern Ave.
