Dulaney Band Invited to Perform in London

The organizers of London's New Year's Day parade and festival will extend an invitation to perform on Monday.

Organizers of London’s New Year’s Day parade and festival are set to extend an invitation to Dulaney High School’s band to perform during the 2015 event.

Councillor Catherine Longworth, past Lord of Westminster, and the festivals founders Robert and Geraldine Bone will officially extend the invitation for the Lion’s Roar to perform at 9 a.m., Monday at Dulaney High School, 255 Padonia Road, according to a Baltimore County schools news release. 

The band previously performed at the parade and festival in 2011.  The event will feature more than 10,000 participants and will be watched on television by an estimated 200 million people worldwide.
