Golfsmith Giving Away $20K in Prizes, Chance to Play With Tiger Woods

Golfsmith, one of the nation's largest golf-specific retail chains, opens in Timonium this weekend. 

" store will be the largest retail layout in the Greater Baltimore Area," according to a release. "Golfsmith is expanding because of their unique retail experiential model-a huge interactive store with six indoor hitting bays, custom fitting studios, and a large putting green.  You can even take biometric golf lessons in air-conditioned comfort."

If that's not enough, early customers will have the chance to win $20,000 in prizes and gifts, and a chance to play nine holes with Tiger Woods. (See video)

The new store is moving into the old location at 130 West Ridgely Rd. in Timonium, MD in the Lutherville Station Shopping Ceneter. 

The Timonium store is one of 10 new shops Golfsmith is opening this year, according to a release.
