Ridgely Arts and Crafts Fair
Why go: The craft fair at Ridgely Middle School has been a tradition for many years and features about 100 artists and a silent auction. Also, it will be interesting to see what so many parents and Timonium residents fought so hard for when it was threatened by actions taken by the Baltimore County Board of Education.Â

Why go: The "Weasel" makes his Baltimore debut this weekend in the state's largest comedy club, but don't let us be the final word. We'll let Pauly Shore . (Video.) Â

Why go: Fast-paced, high-scoring, 90s-era music blaring through stadium speakers—if you're any sort of soccer fan, you need to support your 2011-2012 Baltimore Blast this weekend. The Blast are the most successful franchise in the history of professional indoor soccer, fielding a team of local talent, as well as international all-stars.Â

Soccer: Perry Hall vs. Walter Johnson (State Semifinals)Â
Why go: With the eyes of the nation now affixed on the Gators after their state semifinal clash with No. 1 seed Walter Johnson is a must watch. Don't worry if you can't make it to the game. We'll be the match from start to finish. This is about as close to Friday Night Lights as a Baltimore County sports team is going to get. (Although in this case, it's more like Saturday night. But why quibble over details?)
