Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Man Robbed at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Bridgelake Circle, unit block, on Sept. 22 at 6:13 a.m. Two masked suspects—one of whom was pointing a handgun—robbed a man of $6.

Brierleigh Court, unit block, on Sept. 23 between noon and 9 p.m. An iPod Touch, passport, $5,000 and the wall safe storing all of those items were stolen from a home in Mays Chapel. The burglars forced open the front door and took the safe.

Dulaney Valley Road, 1500 block, between 4 p.m. on Sept. 16 and 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 24. and two North Face women’s jackets were stolen. The burglars removed the drywall and drop ceiling of the home’s basement to steal the copper piping.

Hawkshead Road, 700 block, on Sept. 23, between 7:20 p.m. and 7:46 p.m. A burglar cut wires and forced open the front door of a Lutherville home. Once inside, the intruder smashed an alarm speaker and disabled the smoke alarm. The burglar then rifled through dressers and a jewelry box in the master bedroom. It is unknown what was taken.

Washington Street, 100 block, between 5 p.m. on Aug. 18 and 1 a.m. on Sept. 19. A burglar, who was reportedly “friends” with the victim, according to the incident report, stole $1,200. The suspect entered the house through an unlocked back door and took the cash that “he knew would be in the location,” the report continues.
