Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company Rescues Trapped Driver (PHOTOS)

Firefighters responded to the accident late Friday night.

Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a car late Friday night, into early Saturday morning in Lutherville.

Members of the responded to the call at 12:10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of West Seminary Avenue and Round Top Court, according to the station's website.

"Squad 303 and Engine 302 immediately responded and arrived moments later to find a motor vehicle accident with one person trapped and established command," reads a statement from LVFC.com. "Lutherville crew's immediately stabilized the vehicle, conducted a patient assessment, and extricated the individual by removing the driver's side door."

The driver was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
