NYE Party at Crowne Plaza Ends in Stabbing

A 23-year-old Baltimore man was driven to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

A New Year's Eve party at a Timonium hotel ended in violence, with one man sent to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to a police incident summary. 

The report describes a 23-year-old Baltimore man who was stabbed by an unknown partygoer just before 3 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza, Tuesday morning. The pair was reportedly involved in a heated argument, according to the report. 

It is unknown at this time the relationship—if any—between the victim and the suspect.

A friend drove the 23-year-old to the hospital, where his life-threatening injuries were stabilized following emergency surgery, police said

WBAL-TV reported that three 911 calls were made during the 1,000-person party at the Crowne Plaza for a fight, the aforementioned stabbing and a drug overdose.
