2 Delegates Set to Run for Maryland Attorney General
Dels. C. William Frick and Aisha Braveboy will join Del. Jon Cardin and state Sen. Brian Frosh for the Democratic nomination next year.

Two more candidates are set to run for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General.
Del. C. William Frick (D-Montgomery County) and Del. Aisha Braveboy both intend to run to replace Attorney General Doug Gansler, who is running for governor, according to the Washington Post.
Both state Sen. Brian Frosh (D-Montgomery County) and Del. Jon Cardin (D-Baltimore County) have said they will also seek the Democratic nomination in 2014.

So far only Frick and Frosh have officially filed paperwork to run, and no Republican has entered the race, according to the Maryland State Board of Elections.
Cardin announced his candidacy in July but has not officially filed paperwork to run in the primary.

It appears that 2014 will have two competitive Democratic primaries.
In addition to the Attorney General’s race, the Democratic primary for governor already has three candidates in the field.
