Baltimore County Collecting Christmas Trees for Recycling
Residents will be able to drop off trees for recycling the day after Christmas.

Baltimore County will be collecting live Christmas trees for recycling during a two-week period in January.
Recycling of trees will begin on Jan. 13 and must be placed curbside by Jan. 18 to ensure collection, according to a news release.
Trees that are set out for collection must set out without lights, tinsel, bags and tree stands.

All trees must be placed at the curb or the front street. Trees will not be collected from alleys.
The trees will be collected by trash and recycling trucks and taken to county facilities to be chipped and used for mulch later.

Residents will be able to drop off trees at three facilities, Eastern Sanitary Landfill Solid Waste Management Facility, 11400 block of Pulaski Highway, Central Acceptance Facility, 201 W. Warren Road, and Western Acceptance Facility, 3310 Transway Road, starting Thursday.
