Baltimore Teenager Accused of Towson Robbery

Kendrick Donnell Smith allegedly robbed a jogger last month.

A 19-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with the robbery of a runner in West Towson.

Kendrick Donnell Smith, of the 3800 block of Yolando Road, is accused of robbing a woman of her iPod at gunpoint on Aug. 13 near the intersection of West Chesapeake Avenue and Burnbrae Road, according to Baltimore County police.

Baltimore City police arrested and charged Smith with auto theft on Aug. 15, and during questioning about that crime reportedly confessed to the Towson robbery.

The woman, who was robbed, reportedly identified Smith via a photographic lineup as the person who stole her iPod, according to county police.

Smith is currently being held in Baltimore City Detention Center without bail.
