Better Than New Boutique, a new high end consignment shop, is celebrating its grand opening Friday.
The celebration runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the store, 714 York Road, and includes a fashion show.
The store is owned by Bella Perekalsky and Laura Agetsteien, who recently left their jobs as manicurists in Baltimore County after more than 30 years, said Natasha Perekalsky, Bella's daughter.
Better Than New will feature items from luxury brands such as Chanel, Escada, Fendi, YSL, Elizabeth and James, Tibi and Michel Cazabat, Natasha Perekalsky said.
The store is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
