Comprehensive ethics reform bill draws no questions during County Council hearing.

An overhaul of county ethics laws barely registered a blip on the radar during the Tuesday.

County Attorney Michael Field spent more than 7 minutes explaining some . The time spent on the explanation of the 50-page bill lasted nearly one-fifth of the total length of the council meeting.

"I can answer some questions if you have any," said Field, after completing his explanation.

A final vote is scheduled for the council's last voting session of the year on Monday night at 6 p.m.
