Clock Runs on Meeting Between Hairston, Delegation
Schools system superintendent has yet to schedule meeting with state legislators.

A promised meeting between Joe A. Hairston and state lawmakers from Baltimore County has not yet been scheduled.
You may remember that Hairston April 8 with Sen. Kathy Klausmeier and Del. John A. Olszewski Jr. in Annapolis.

Hairston was given a list of questions. Klausmeier and Olszewski said the superintendent promised to return and provide answers at a meeting of all 29 legislators who represent the county. That meeting, which would be open to the public, was supposed to take place "within the next month."
Charles Herndon, a schools system spokesman, said he was not aware of any such meeting being scheduled.

Klausmeier and Olszewski did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
